We recently signed up for AMC Stubs membership card - we were going to movies often and decided having 'additional' perk would be a benefit.
The AMC Stubs card has a $12 Annual Fee - It didn't bother us but reading the fine print we noticed that any rewards earned will expire within 90 days.
You may cancel the membership within the first 30 days otherwise, your credit card will be charged $12 every year.
We decided to cancel and its been rather difficult experience.
AMC will not refund the money back into your credit card, instead they will be mailing a check and processing takes 5-6 weeks. What a BS!
Why can't AMC refund money back into our credit card so making the transaction so much easier and pleasantful.
Apparently, this maybe a case of promising too much but delivering too little.
