I hate Disputes(read Lawyers)

I received a letter from HOA and also one of the local Law Offices suggesting that I was in Violation of having too many weeds in my landscape.

For one, I do keep my lawn weed-free and there are times when am out of town for 2-3 weeks when I don't tend to my lawn and my grass+weeds grow but as soon as am back, I work on the yard and keep the status-quo.

I fired off an email to the HOA asking what my next steps were.

Just so you know, I have received warning letters from HOA and I take prompt action to fix what's necessary.

The Law Office wants me to pay $100 and if I want to dispute the amount, has provided me with a list of neutral mediators. The messed up thing is I can't afford the hourly rate of the supposed neutral mediators.

Here is the listing and the hourly rate.

1. Peter Grilli, - $330 an hour.
2. Brian Ross, - $220 an hour.
3. Roland Santiago, - $175 an hour.
4. Mark Shelton, - $300 an hour.
5. Christopher Shulman, - $275 an hour.

With the ridiculous hourly rates, where can I find an inexpensive neutral negotiator to save my $100?

I hate fucking lawyers.
