Car Battery - AAA sucks

I needed a car battery this morning as its performance was going down noticeably for the last 3-4 days and it barely was able to crank up the engine.

I called AAA and they never arrived and I can celled the service call after 2 1/2 hrs. (Remember: Basic membership only allows you to call them 4 times a year)

I called around few places and found that Sams Club had the best price.

• Sams - $75
• BJs - $80
• AutoZone - $85
• Advanced Auto - $85
• Pep Boys - $99

and the worst offender was who else, AAA - they said they would charge me $115..yikes.

Glad I didn't wait for them and now I wonder if being a AAA member is worth it...
