Am trying to book a rental car for the weekend and noticed that the prices for the labor day weekend are pretty affordable.
However, if you plan on using Debit card to reserve a car with Hertz then be prepared to have an inquiry on your credit history.
Here is the snippet of the Terms and Conditions: "Please note that at the time of rental you will need to present a current driver's license and a valid major credit card. Hertz locations also accept most, but not all, debit cards. Use of a debit card to rent a vehicle is subject to a review of your credit history. A few locations do not accept debit cards at time of rental."
I mean they want to review your credit history instead of reviewing your driving history. What's wrong with this picture?
